Healed from Within
As a child, Dr. Liliana suffered from severe allergies and asthma, often battling frequent viruses and bacterial infections due to a compromised immune system. In 1991, her mother—reluctant at first—visited a chiropractor for back and shoulder pain after medical doctors were unable to help. At the time, she could not lift her right arm to write on the blackboard, a major challenge for a high school teacher. After experiencing relief from her first chiropractic visit, the chiropractor suggested bringing Liliana in for an initial examination.
The results were immediate. Within just a few months of care, most of Dr. Liliana’s symptoms disappeared. She no longer needed an inhaler, could sleep through the night without coughing, and stopped experiencing the cycle of frequent illness. Chiropractic care allowed her body to function the way it was designed to—healing and strengthening from within.
While still in high school, Dr. Liliana began working in a chiropractic office, where she saw firsthand how many people’s lives were improved by this care. After earning her undergraduate degree, she worked as a chiropractic assistant in Richmond, Virginia, which confirmed her calling to serve others as a chiropractor. She enrolled at Life University and began the rigorous course of study required to enter the profession.
“Dr. L.,” as many of her participants affectionately call her, is proud to serve as a Doctor of Chiropractic, a health and wellness educator, a public speaker, and an active member of the Decatur community. She is passionate about partnering with participants at Lotus of Life Chiropractic to help them realize a lifetime of health and wellness.

I was introduced to chiropractic care as a child and saw firsthand how powerful it can be when started early. My parents struggled with chronic back pain from old injuries, while my younger brother suffered persistent ear infections. Chiropractic helped my parents heal, and my brother hasn’t had an ear infection since beginning care at age 8. His body was still developing, which made healing easier and lasting. That experience inspired me to dedicate my work to children, families, and mothers.

My mission is to support families in living healthier, fuller lives. Children have a natural capacity to heal, and I want to help them grow up with strong, interference-free nervous systems. For adults, my goal is to remind them that same healing power is always available and to guide them back to it through gentle, consistent care.

Success is when a tired parent leaves my office thinking about playing with their kids. It’s when a mother experiences an intervention-free birth after her baby is positioned well. It’s when someone no longer needs medications and feels empowered to live fully. And it’s when a child smiles and says, “I feel better.”
