Brenna Werme is just six short months away from graduating from Life University and is joining James as an intern at Lotus of Life.
Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, Brenna received her bachelor’s degree in 2008 from Northeastern University in Boston. She also completed two internships with chiropractors in the Boston area during that time. At Life University, Brenna was introduced to BGI and immediately knew it was her fit as it encompasses her passion for embodiment. She will graduate in September 2012.
Embodyoga is one of Brenna’s beloved devotions. She has been practicing since she was 15-years old. She has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification and is very close to completing her 500-hour certification, sharing her knowledge and love of the practice as an instructor at the Life University Wellness-Center.
Brenna has two brothers back home and a dog (Marcel) to keep her company while she studies. She loves the beach and being outdoors whenever possible. She has an obvious love for the beauty of life and helping others realize the life they have within through chiropractic, education and awareness.
Carly Swift -
I am very excit
ed to begin interning here at Lotus of Life officially this July until I graduate in December. I appreciate you allowing me to observe Dr. Lilliana as she cares for you and to have this wonderful learning opportunity.
I am originally from Virginia Beach, VA so naturally I love salty breezes and sunshine. I grew up running on hot sand and swimming in the Chesapeake Bay. I completed a bachelor’s degree at James Madison University (JMU) in Health Sciences and began my journey to Life University shortly after graduation in 2008.
I have always felt healing to be a process that comes from within and when I stumbled upon Chiropractic I knew this was my calling. I have been working steadily since arriving at Life University to mold my lifestyle into a holistic model. I did not come from a chiropractic background; the idea of healing being a natural process made sense to me but everything that comes along with that was not as simple to grasp. The more I began to learn about our healing process and the way our bodies are built the more I understood how little we need outside ourselves. I’m pulled to care for all walks of life and especially pediatric and mommies to be. I see a great world of health if we all began our life fully connected to our healing nature without nerve interference from Day One. I see this eliminating so many unnecessary health costs and ailments that we now consider normal. So, I am very grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow at Lotus of Life on my journey to realize this goal.
I spend most of my free time with my boyfriend Roy and friends. We love to be out in the sunshine sitting at the pool or hiking along the river. We also enjoy going to Braves games, seeing live music and cooking yummy dinners.
Here is a FUN FACT: Dr. Lilliana & I both are from Virginia, went to James Madison, and LOVE cats!
Nathan Potter is also graduating from Life University this December and is enthralled about fulfilling his life mission as a chiropractor .
If you ask him where he’s from, it will be a long and complicated answer considering he has lived in more than 26 houses covering cities in Germany, England and 5 U.S. States. He has a passion for travel and has served people through chiropractic in India, Dominican Republic, Dubai as well as Haiti and looks forward to expanding this list!
He began playing guitar and writing music before he turned 10-years old. Learning several instruments and having a great passion for art, in all its forms, enriches his life daily. Though initially a Film major while attending Oklahoma State University, he pursued the sciences once he felt called to facilitate the natural healing process in all beings.
After a long search for the right profession, he chose chiropractic for the powerful changes he felt in many aspects of his life after being adjusted regularly. It complimented perfectly his zeal for natural living and being a spiritual seeker. After discovering the Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI) approach to chiropractic, he has been actively helping with BGI Club at Life U and learning much from Dr. Liliana over the last two and a half years! Nathan feels privileged, grateful and honored to learn and serve at Lotus of Life Chiropractic, in all the ways he can.
